Kane and Mommy's Day of Fun!

I was on Pintrest last night, and I got a bunch of ideas of how to entertain your toddler, so this morning we headed to Michaels for supplies. While out I decided we should take advantage of the beautiful day.  So before going home to play, we ran by the park.
Kane really loves being outside!  He loves to run too, so a wide open space is his heaven!
We found a mom and her baby ducks, she was very protective.  Right after I took this picture she just about attacked the seagull in the picture.
Kane loves to go over bridges.
He will run back and forth like twenty times.
Kane really digs my sunglasses.  He won't wear sunglasses for children, just mine.
I picked up some pom poms and some beach stuff, among other things, from Michaels today.
Kane stayed very  busy putting the pom poms in the bucket and dumping them out.
During Kane's afternoon nap I set up a new activity.  I put finger paint in Ziplock bags and then taped all four sides to our sliding glass door.  Thanks Pintrest! I couldn't wait for him to wake up so he could play!
He was a bit cautious at first.
But quickly decided it was cool and he should try to use his shovel as well.
This just cracked me up. Dinner tonight was veggie burgers, mixed veggies (corn, carrots, peas, green beans), tomatoes, and blueberries for dessert.  When Kane got to his vegetables he decided to grab a handful in both hands, and lift them up to the sky.
He ended his routine by shoveling both handfuls of veggies in his mouth.  Kane the character!

Making the pieces fit

I was finally able to get a video of Kane putting one of his puzzles together!  He has done it in the past but usually he will move onto something else before we finish the puzzle or he would have problems with a piece and get frustrated.  He was so into it today though.  We put this puzzle together and then he moved to another puzzle and put that one together even quicker than he put this one together.  I love to see Kane's little brain working.  As you can see, he didn't put the horse piece in, the dogs ate it a long time ago.  I had to throw it away.
